1.         Notarized copies of each signatory’s passport ( The bank would allow that the ID be either a passport, social security card or a driver’s license however they all need to be certified by a notary )

  

2.         2 original bank reference letter (or) 1 original bank reference letter and 1 original character reference letter (attorney or accountant)

  

3.         A copy of a utility bill confirming place of residence  

 

4.         Original Bank Application Forms

Monies can be sent out by submitting a request online or by sending a fax to the bank with the appropriate signature and password.     

 

Can cash also be drawn out of UK cash machines and used for electronic payment in shops etc similar to a UK link VISA or MASTER card would? 

  

 Credit cards can be issued on the account which can be used at ATM and in stores.     

 

Can the bank take deposits by cheque? 

  

 Yes however it may take about 3-4 weeks to clear.     

 

Can the bank take electronic deposits by credit or debit card’s?   

  

 NO, unless you have a merchant account with them.     

 

Are there any branches in the UK ?  

 

No. 

 

On a monthly basis can my local clients wire sterling to Belize ?   

  

If your client opens a bank account in Belize , the account can be opened in Sterling currency.  

 

Can Belize transfer my wages and dividends (in sterling) to my personal account at Lloyds in London ? 

 

Yes once you have your Belize account in Sterling and your account in London is Sterling . 

 

Do off shore companies need to pay VAT? 

 

 No.  In Belize an IBC pays 0% taxes.
